I’m starting the new year just like I finished the last one, with a new country tick! The story also stays the same as this was part of the shipment I got from Marek in Poland last year.

The beer is hazy golden in colour with a thin sticky white foam layer on top. It tastes sweet and grainy with a hint of citrus. Slight bitterness towards the end with some taste of spices. A very decent tasting beer after so many lagers lately.

Times are busy at work and that means some time in between new beers. Last entry was actually back in August last year! The previous entries in this blog originated from a trade I did with a fellow Norwegian beer enthusiast. He had obtained the beers by buying them from a person in Poland with access to beers from a huge amount of “rare” countries. At the same time as I was doing the trade with Lars I got it direct contact with the same guy in Poland with the help of fellow countryhunter Fredrik. Since then I’ve been in contact back and forth and some months ago my package full of beer arrived. This beer from Andorra is the first from this shipment, but since I’ve been very busy at work I’m only able to start with the first beers now. I should be able to cross more countries of the list before going back to work in a couple of weeks.

The beer is slightly hazy golden in colour with a decent white foamy top. It smells hoppy and a little fruity as well. The taste is sharp but short lived. Slight sweetness towards the end, but also the finish is short. On the positive side one beer closer to finishing Europe 🙂
